The Browns should only wear the watches they have available on MSWC like they do with those ugly necklaces. I went on the MSWC website for the first time in over a year last night. It was much more professional and I did like some of the watches. They really should think about wearing and plugging it on the show. The watches were even affordable priced.

I've seen MSWC watches. Big and clunky. I guess the motto, "Modest is hottest" does not apply to the jewelry biz. Also, no one wears watches anymore, everyone checks their phones for the time.

ReplyDeleteShe's the mystery relative that took over sister Taralyce's old job at Robyn's. I forget her actual relationship (one of Robyn's stepfather's stepchildren maybe?) but she isn't related to Flora Jessop. Jessop is a common name - Robyn's ex was a Jessop (and is Christine's first cousin).

I actually had to re-read Robyn's tweet about how Kody "teases" the boy about not having Asperger's because I seriously couldn't believe it. I have no idea why labeling him as "quirky" on national tv is preferable to acknowledging his medical diagnosis, but clearly Kody is a fool and so is Robyn making feeble excuses on his behalf.

Meri will never allow another wife in her house. Janelle has room but she may be able to say no since Kody wants everyone to think they are in love again. Christine also has room as does Robyn but Robyn dropped the ball having babies so I would say Robyn will have to accept #5 as a roomie. Her 2 girls and 2 boys can share 2 rooms and the new wife can have the remaining 2 or 3 with her master suite on the second floor.

Kody is definitely getting on my nerves more and more with his sexist ways. I re-watched all the seasons recently and noticed much of the same behaviors. I'm especially tired of hearing about his "man card" and how he can't do certain things because he'll "lose it". Maybe it's just me, but the true "manliest" of men don't give a crap if they take part in typical "feminine" things because they are so confident in themselves. It shows me that Kody is driven by an intensely fragile ego. That's why he is so HAS to sit at the head of the table, because merely sitting at a different table would shatter his ego and he'd probably have a major tantrum/meltdown.
I've never heard a 'manly' man discuss his 'man card'...MrPetiteTerror once took a break from building our addition to help me apply my makeup (when I fractured my wrist), and then picked out a perfectly nice outfit (with semi matching accessories) just to make my day easier.

I agree with you. I have also been re watching and the "man card" talk is insulting to real men. You can have a "man card" when you enter into a committed relationship where you are not threatened by your partner's strengths but celebrate them. You can have a "man card" when you financially support that family and you do not resort to dishonesty and trickery to pay the bills. You can have a " man card" when you guide, support and encourage your children to follow their dreams and realize that they are not just props in the "Klown Kody show" (and get a man haircut and not look like little Lord Fauntleroy). You can gave a "man card" when you spiritually guide your children to have a close personal relationship with God and you stop using Him as an excuse for your own weaknesses. Kody has a lot to learn and little desire to do so. He has never earned a man card, he is still a weak and insecure boy. Today is Father's Day and we can celebrate all of the real " man card" men in our lives.

Making sure her lips and cheeks were pink when she had visitors (because she didn't want people to pity her), up until the very end, makes me shake in anger when I think of a man like Kody and his concept of masculinity and leadership.
No, not every man would do that, polygamist or monogamist, but it was the truest expression of love and genuine masculinity that I have ever seen.

MSWC is obviously a disaster and we all knew it would be. What should they have done? We have a family with 5 adults with a sudden infusion of money. What would have been the best plan to set them up for the future? I'm having trouble coming up with an idea, other than Meri completing her education and Janelle going back into the workforce. Jen Arnold from the LIttle Couple has a real job. Janelle could have had a real job as well. And there should be plenty of jobs for con men like Kody in Vegas. But I can't really think of a business that would be successful in their hands.

DeleteNo they don't. Maddie graduated from Centennial HS while Mykelti left Centennial about a year ago to attend a high school program offered by a local community college.
Janelle posted on twitter how lucky she was to have such a hands on father for her children. Trying to spread yourself around 4 women and 16 kids every 4 days isn't very hands on. It's just not humanly possible to be "hands on" with spreading yourself so thin.

ReplyDeleteI don't understand what the big deal is about Meri not wearing her wedding ring. One of my friends stopped wearing her rings after her second child because her fingers were swollen. Another stopped wearing hers because she lost a lot of weight and they needed to be resized. In Meri's case, maybe her ring doesn't fit and needs to be resized. I just don't understand this focus on her (or any woman's) wearing their wedding rings!
