Sister Wives LIVE TWEET PARTY for 2/17/19

TLC

Ya know, when life gives you lemons....yeah, yeah yeah.

So far this season of Sister Wives has been a bunch of lemons.  Boring repetitive lemons.

But somebody in the Brown Kamp has cooked up some lemonade for the Sister Wives audience to savor.

In case you haven't heard, Mariah popped the question to her girlfriend, Audrey!

Twitter
But of course I have a few questions. Why the delay of almost a month for the official announcement? Why was the announcement made 24 hours after the most romantic day of the year had passed?

Since Mariah proposed, does this mean Kody doesn't have to worry about paying for the wedding?  Just keeping it real, folks.

Oh wait, I just remembered Janelle proposed to Kody. And Janelle obviously wears the proverbial pants in that parental unit.  Never mind. Kody will just make Meri pay.

And doesn't Audrey look surprised. Or frightened. Or relieved. Or all three. Well done, Mariah!

Hmmm....I wonder if under certain circumstances, would Mariah bring other women into her marriage? Like her bro-in-law Mitch rather clumsily explained to the camera in last week's show, when Aspyn announced her marriage plans?

That show I would watch in a heartbeat!

Fingers crossed for no mentions of catfish, or Lizzie's tonight. Maybe Kody will explain why the sudden need to escape his Plymouth Rock. Did I just hear Kody say he wanted to run for political office in Utah?

Just like Bill in Big Love, right Kody? Or Papa Joe Darger, perhaps.

Whatever. Tonight's episode starts in an hour. So.....

Gird up your loins, y'all!

Sister Wives is on the snark menu in
My Living Room Tonight!!!

So what if the Browns blocked you on Twitter!
Let's be the bigger person!

Remember, the Show needs us for Ratings!(which had the show dropping from #6 to #11 in ratings. YIKES!!)

LET THE SNARKING BEGIN!!!

    1. I think it is Robchyn as always that has Kody doing her bidding. She doesn’t want Brianna to start high school. She acts surprised at announcement... all lies.

  3. "The best way to back up my argument is to create a business-like presentation." No, the best way to back up your argument is to actually have a decent argument with evidence and reasoning. If the argument is crap, it's still crap, no matter how "business-like" it is presented.

    This man is delusional.

    1. It seems like my DVR missed the first 10 or 15 minutes of the show because I only have 40 some minutes recorded and I missed this presentation thing you guys are talking about. I started watching when the women were packing for the trip and Kody was pretending to have responsibilities at each of their houses. Was it just a one hour show this week?

  4. CJ,
You are so right again !!!
Kodyworld is in dire need of a B-12 shot of viewer interest....and Mariah and her ladylove have delivered the goods.
    Maybe....!!

True, Kody's kids have been raised and trained to join the grifter/attention routine to be the 2nd generation of TV Plyggy freebies via media attention and payouts. No doubt Mariah has already signed for gossip mag exclusive (People, US etc) contracts and TLC will capitalize on the *wedding* a whole year from now. But thanks to CJ we now know that the ratings numbers are grim enough that a miracle SURELY IS needed to secure another season.

Can we dare hope that the elusive, seldom seen Logan and his lovely girlfriend will be the rare exceptions in the Brown grifter DNA??
I really hope so since it is clear that his sisters all well into it with TV-paid engagements, showers and marriages... and by Maddie's example, pregnancies.

But will Mariah's marriage really generate the salivating viewer hook that they all expect?? Not sure since unveiling it at the women's march in DC was a bit too canned, too predictable...too anti-climatic! It's kind of done now....balloons have deflated, cameras have left..."day is done...."
Just not *news* that can guarantee ratings. Not in 2020.

Sadly, I do agree with the comments that Aspyn's husband is quite possibly a Plygg in stealth mode. Aspyn has that adoring and glazed-eye demeanor around him. Sigh...too bad.

Yes, let's hope the TLC elves have been kind and we don't hear one freaking word about catfish or B&B. As it is we are going to be entertained (tortured) with yet another Kody-Idiot diatribe of why he must relocate and how he is soooooo conflicted and martyred.

    so....On to the SNARK-tank.....

    1. Yea when Mariah first came out, I thought I would've loved to watch her wedding and follow her story. But she has become one of the most unlikable of the adult children. So I don't see myself tuning in to watch her wedding.

    3. You're right. Logan & Michelle will probably be the exception because Michelle already stated on Twitter that their wedding will not be filmed. They want their privacy.

    4. If I recall, Mariah was the biggest polygamy proponent among the kids and was going to practice it. I wonder if she will follow in her father’s footsteps.

    1. I agree This move is for Robin. She has Kody's ear every night and the money is quickly drying up. Kody and Robin cannot afford a move and new life without the equity in the other three wives houses. She is the only wife who wants the move. Mr and Mrs Brown want to get their hands on Mary, Janelle's, and Christines assets. And Yes....far too many mentions about the old age Kody and the younger children of his and Robin keeps coming up. These wedding are getting old.

      Delete
    2. Agreed. Robyn is definitely wanting to move. She doesn’t like the school the kids are going to and it seems that her kids won’t be impacted like the others. It’s also interesting that Christine is afraid that disagreeing with Kody will mean that he will emotionally withdraw from her. The emotional abuse in this family is outrageous.

      Delete
    3. Agreed!!! Robchyn is always the desire behind anything Kody gets hyped up for...have you ever seen him excited about anything the other wives want? Could care less about Meri B and B even to the point of denying on camera funds. Could care less when poor Janelle balls her eyes out about finite resource and takes a longer nap instead of job hunting. And sad sack Christine sank deeper in depression begging for attention and didn’t even get the money to visit her father before death. Remember when Meri was the alpha female? Well apparently Robchyn really gets allot of attention with her thousand dollars worth of Victoria secret “ long legged” pants. 😂🤣 because it seems she can move heaven and earth with her wants.

      Delete
    4. Omg “ angel on the wall” that’s it...it gets the proceeds of house sales into the general family fund. God forbid the original three wives could gain equity in the homes in their names. You hit the nail on the head. Redistribute equity into legal Mrs Browns account. Genius.

      Delete
    5. It’s clear that Kody doesn’t care that Janelle is 100% against moving her kids after seeing the emotional damage the move to Vegas caused the older kids. He doesn’t care that Christine fasted and prayed and came to the conclusion that she didn’t want to move because of her kids. He doesn’t care that the Brown children (except for Robyn’s) seem to be thriving and happy in Vegas. He doesn’t care that Maddie moved close by and that the other adult children are close to Vegas. All that matters is what Robyn thinks.

      Delete
  15. I am convinced now that this new move to AZ was/is a last gasp attempt to stay on the air. In all these discussions, they all sound too "prepped" too coached... including the camera crew's questions inserted on the screen all designed to sound spontaneous.
By their own counting out loud this epp, they have moved MANY times.
So how is this time any different or nerve-twitching?

And this Seattle road trip is a huge YAWN.
They need one of them to not come back from Seattle.
Now that would be a cliff-hanger!!

    1. I was falling asleep. Thank goodness a friend called me and some me up. Otherwise I would have missed Seattle. You know, Amused, the last time the wives went on a trip Truely wound up going into kidney failure. I was on the phone so I assume Robyn arranged for a proper nanny to care for her children, instead of Kody this time.

      Delete
    2. May be Robyn hoped the other wives wouldn’t go and she’s have kody to herself who knows with these people

      Delete
    3. Yes, given that "DAD" was onsite when that child's health downgraded that far in full view, even in view of the cameras that were there to film good ol' Dad babysitting, one would readily think that counting on Kody for anything regarding supervising kids would be a non-issue.

      Trying to be kind here....
Just have to wonder why the producers haven't realized that this particular crew of women are just not good or believable for these silly *fashion* road trips. "Real Housewives"....they are NOT !!

Seriously, these are the same women who had to read several years' worth of snark comments to figure out that their long-sleeved t-shirts worn under tight tank tops, which then morphed into baby-doll tops replacing the tank tops were not the most fetching attire for TV stars. Certainly no mystery there why some have embraced the LuLuRoe "grab and wear" non-fashion look.

    4. At least Robyn has Mindy (who's been with the family for years--is she the 5th secret Wife, or what?) to take care of her kids while she is away. And Aspyn took care of Christine's kids.

  17. In MrSpock's part of the country hats are worn of the ski cap variety---those probably would not work for a wedding...However, MrSpock wonders how Mitch's mom can support herself with the hat business as hats still are worn very seldom in the U.S. Mitch's mom makes nice hats, however.

    2. Oh yeah, Christine and Robchyn’s neediness and identify is still very much connected to being Kody’s wives. Hence the lonely comments. 🤢 Kody is so not worth it.

    3. Do we know what her husband is doing now? They said that she never lived plural marriage, and that SHE left HIM 20+ years ago. But she clearly didn't seem to want to discuss WHY she left. Was it because he wanted to live plural marriage and she didn't? She kept saying that she grew up around, and she felt it was something she HAD to do, but didn't like having that pressure. So I wonder if the pressure to be a plural wife is what made her leave? I feel like there was either a lot cut out of that table discussion or she just plain didn't want to get into it with them.

    2. Yes, Anon... it’s like the younger kids don’t even matter, I guess they will adapt without all the teenage complaining, since most of them were home schooled back in Lehi it’s likely this school is the only one they have ever attended. 5 years is half their lives.

CJ I think this is the first confirmation of this? But to recap at the beginning Meri and Kody were in a bad place and bringing Robyn was supposed to fix it. Bring Robyn broke Christine...ergo Kody hasn’t had good marriages with any of the wives except Robyn ?

    1. It was very telling that Janelle said the first 20 years of a plyg marriage likely wouldn’t be good. LOL. If a relationship sucks for 20 years, that’s NOT a good thing.

      Delete
    2. Ha! Yep Anon 8:38, this is the first time I've heard Janelle say that. But isn't it telling how she feels about the first 20 years of a plural marriage. Yep, after birthing those six babies in rapid succession, I suppose not being pregnant with Kody's spirit baby would be a holiday.

      Delete
    3. It’s very sad that all those beautiful babies didn’t get to arrive to a happy marriage or mom.

    4. I remember hearing that part of the episode and thinking "that is NOT how a marriage is supposed to be. If it is that bad for that long, something is seriously wrong!" :(

      Delete
    5. Uggh and if they believe they will be together for eternity in the afterlife, then that's an eternity of horribleness. I'd be getting myself unsealed after a year of being unhappy. Yes, marriage is hard (been married for over 3 decades) and you have your ups and downs. That said, if it's bad from day 1 and continues to be bad for 20 years, there's definitely a problem.

      Delete
  24. Christine put me over the edge in a whole bunch of ways this week! A double "big dill" at the end of the show meant a double-shot of tequila for me! Ouch! Not going to play that drinking game any more when I have to work the next day! LOLZ

But yeah, Christine claiming Kody is a good leader and a good man? Puleeze. Then she's beligerent with Hannah about the plyggy lifestyle? Not cool Christine. Then while the Moms are away visiting Hannah, you know it's Aspyn taking care of her siblings, not Kody. It's telling that Aspyn is referred to a "sweet" as in "keep sweet". She was so worried about her wedding dress not being covered up enough for Mitch and for Kody. That's so sad. Hope she finds some semblance of independence one day.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh my. I literally fell out of my chair when Christine came up with saying Kody was both a good leader and man. Three words Christine (if you're reading this)...chili cheese nachos. And of course, it takes a good leader and a good man to lead each of the original 3 wives into filing for bankruptcy. One at a time.

      Delete
    2. CJ, you mean good men don’t say they are disgusted by their wife? I think that is probably a plyg thing. I mean they have so many to choose from they really don’t need to keep them all happy, right. We have watched Christine be out right abused mentally, persecuted and shunned for not welcoming Robchyn with open arms. Good man my A$$

    4. TLC has tried to scrub that episode from its archives. On their app they recently had every episode available to watch, Hulu and Netflix also at one time or another had Sisterwives and after watching every single episode ive never been able to find the Nacho Incident. There is a clip on YouTube, that's the only proof of its existence that I can find.

      Delete
    5. Yep Nunya Beeswax, the Natalie Morales Tell All episode (her second one with the Browns) which focused on their book Becoming Sister Wives no longer exists in its entirety. Morales brought up points Kody obviously was not prepared to answered and he came across as a non emphatic jerk with a chip on his shoulder who refused to apologize to Christine because he didn't do anything wrong. And it showcased Robyn attempting to explain why Kody and Meri courted a teenage girl....which occurred years before Robyn married Kody. She wasn't there, so how would she know what happened?

      Delete
  25. Kody is delusional. Who does a business presentation with poster boards that have been professionally printed? Has he not heard of PowerPoint? Surely his time could have been better spent connecting with his children, doing things around the house, working on his relationship with Meri? More importantly, why is he presenting to his wives? Totally weird. He is also out of breath and sweating profusely. He considers himself to be an accomplished businessman, but can’t get through a presentation to his wives without sweating, stammering and looking like a jackass. His premise for moving is that everyone is doing well, they all have nice houses, the kids are happy—am I missing something?

    ReplyDelete

    1. OMG- Christine saying Kody was ‘sneaky’ as if his presentation was so subtle and clever.

    2. Only a doofus would still use poster board for presentations. That was so 1980's. And the handouts. Did he tell his wives to take notes? If that's the best Kody and TLC can come up with, maybe it's time for the show to be canceled for lack of content. All I see is Kody left boring Lehi for the entertainment capital of the world - Las Vegas - and now he's "leading" his family to laid back, sleepy cold Flagstaff. I shudder to think if Kody and Krew made Vegas boring, what they will do to poor Flagstaff. I mean, how many times can you visit the Grand Canyon, or look at the snow?

  26. I’m only 10 minutes in and I want to throttle Kody. He is basically saying it doesn’t matter how much he ruins the lives of the older kids by pulling them out of school and taking them away from their friends. He needs to ensure he has $$ for his (and Robyn’s) younger kids.

  27. AZ is plyg tolerant: Colorado City. Flagstaff is a resort town and more expensive than other areas in AZ. Flag to Parowan Utah (Meri's B&B) is a 5 hour drive. Can't justify how much the family spends on luxury housing when they won't pay for teenage daughter to have necessary surgery (and I think that is why Kruddy with his crazy hair is against it). Robyn obviously the dominant wife but seems Christine is the most true, sincere about the doctrine. Routing for Janelle to get a normal job, as she had in the beginning. (is that possible?) Family is fascinating but spare me any more overly long trying-on-hats scenes although interesting to see an escaped plyg wife living happily in a studio.

  28. I am at a loss to figure out how they can afford to buy the new property and rent houses in Flagstaff without selling any of their Las Vegas houses. It's not as if they have a good credit history. I know they get a lot of freebies from stores, restaurants and wedding venues for appearing on the show, but still! From what I understand, they aren't making nearly the money they were years ago. So what gives?

    1. Let's hope Kody has a viable long term plan in mind. Otherwise, if those McMansions in Vegas don't sell soon, he is S.C.R.E.W.E.D. And if TLC pulls the plug on the SW, it will be interesting to see if Robyn stays or flys back to her McMansion in Vegas if it is still off the market.

    6. Thanks Milo... then moving to a more expensive place makes little sense. I could understand if the Vegas market had gone up and they were able to buy in a less expensive market thus pocketing any gains they made (or using those gains to get out of debt), but Kody has once again proven himself to be delusional. Those women need to wake up and quit doing what he tells them to do.

  30. I would bet that Kody had producer help with those poster boards.
Hell, I would bet that the producers prepared them and gave them to him to then, with all of Kody's famed flourish, and in his best Lord and Master voice.... Present them....TO HIS WIVES"....WTH !!
You know, the women he allegedly has slept with (on and off) for the last 25 years. And lo and behold, the wives were ALL were SO surprised !!
**Oh sure, Right.....and I am a closet Kody seeker.**

That whole drama was beyond ludicrous and lame.
But wait, there may be trickery afoot.

So why oh why would the producers and Kodyworld have concocted such a glaringly transparent ruse....again ??

    Hmm...maybe because....
1- The Brown Saga in Vegas is not bringing the needed ratings. Boring, redundant epps have slowly eroded from within like a termite infestation.
A fix is in order if the Kody Show is to survive.

2- the balloon mortgages were coming due....coming due on mediocre over-priced, under-finely constructed houses which are emptying out of kids.
A cheaper, smaller living arrangement was needed...fast.

3- Sobbin saw the $$-handwriting on the wall and most likely she held very private seminars for Kody so that he inescapably "got it" ....
Sobbin fretted about about how much of the family $$$ WON"T be there for her two Kody-kids down the road...Especially IF the show has finally run out of gas(correction, make that BS)...and there are no more TLC checks or perks to count on..Unless something radical was done.
(Another reason why despite Janelle's protests, she went to AZ.
No Brown wants to give up the easy TLC $$)

    So...
Another move to smaller quarters to save money....Important
Make the move somewhere with possible new story lines...Very important
Another move to get more seasons of TLC $$...*MOST* important

Especially if you are Kody Brown, narcissist extraordinaire, dedicated and addicted to having a camera record your every self-stroking, inane thought.
    ??????

    1. Yep Amused. That's pretty much the state of things in Kody World right now. Moving Robyn into a million dollar rental and buying Christine a $500K home in Flagstaff probably makes sense to a delusional Kody. Until that TLC money stops and the cameramen take their toys and go home. There sits Kody, alone in a snowdrift in Flagstaff, while Robyn runs back to Vegas and the warmth of her McManse.

  31. It’s interesting what they don’t film that would actually be interesting to watch. We never see any of their religious services (I think the last one was when Robyn talked about her purity being stolen). What is their day-to-day life like? Does he have family dinners with each of his families? There’s very little about the kids’ activities. All the interactions between the adults seem to be organized meetings. Do any of them just hang out. Do any of the other wives help Robyn with the younger kids? Why does she need Mindy with so many other wives and older kids around, plus Kody? They seem to be four separate families living in a cul-de-sac who happen to share a husband. The show only shows scripted, organized, fabricated activities and really doesn’t give any insight into their real lives.

    1. Unfortunately, that has been life as "usual" in the cul-de-sac. Really, TLC should rename Sister Wives to Kody's World because that's what it is. We see very little of family interactions or the wives non-scripted interactions any more. And you're right. With 3 sister wives and their older children, why does Robyn still need to employ her cousin Mindy to take care of her youngest 2 children with Kody? And no, I'm not buying it's because Mindy has a degree in child development either.

      Delete
    2. Could Mindy be the fifth wife? Kody is definitely not sleeping with Meri or Janelle. Christine won’t be adding to his celestial family and not sure if Robyn will. Perhaps Kody will receive a revelation about Mindy. Surely God is paying attention to Kody’s sexual needs.

      Delete
    3. I totally think Mindy is being condioed to join the cult of Kody. Robchyn keeps her around to try and control the situation and so she (Robchyn) and Kody can run off together all they want. Robchyn has 3 teenagers to help with their baby brother and sister and she has a bazillion bonus kids to nanny...only thing that makes sense to me is for Robchyn to offer up Mindy as a 5th. In my opinion Robchyn would see her as a breeder and not much competition.

      Delete
    4. That was “ conditioned” to join the cult

      Delete
    5. Sorry I'm late replying but you make an excellent point: Is Mindy being conditioned to join Kody World as the 5th?

First of all, she's Robyn's cousin, so she's keeping it "in the family" so to speak. Second, Robyn's already set up the hierarchy of Master Wife and Housekeeper/Nanny so she's still in control of Kody access. Third, as you mentioned, Robyn would "see her as a breeder and not much competition." You've hit the nail squarely on it's pointy bald head!

      Total win/win for Robyn!

  32. Does anyone else notice that we see NO children anymore?
Poor Ysabel and her back or if you are having a wedding are the only kids we have seen for years now. It would be a little more interesting to me if we saw some day to day family interaction. But then again we might see and hear how the kids really feel about there father. Can’t risk that.

    2. I get the feeling some of them are over the whole thing and don't want to be shown on camera as much. Out of all of those kids some of them have to be introverted and not liking the attention. As an introvert myself, I can relate. I don't like being the center of any kind of attention.

  33. Hey TLC, the fake move Exodus crap is just like all the other plots that have been played and retreaded for seasons now. Thank goodness the jerk didn’t say it, cold to all the kids and we have a flash back of all the kids crying their eyes out.
If you want better ratings TLC...bring on Mindy as the 5th wife or better yet a hot 22 year old. We all want to see Robchyn flip her lid. Have Meri bring a lesbian lover home. Have Janelle pack her peanut butter Fritos and move back to the teepee. And just let Christine just blabber away about how phenomenal the new wife is as she updates her luxury SUV and preaches how great polygamy is...”for the family”...”not just the man”...”she wants the family”

  34. Anyone else notice that when the 4 wives were all sitting at Janelle's table, and they started discussing what just happened with Kody (before they start talking about going to Seattle). Janelle was all "Kody will talk to you (points to Christine), and then he will talk to me, and then he will talk to me again, and then he will talk to you (points at Robyn)." She does this for a few more seconds and notice that she NEVER points to Meri and NEVER says that Kody talks to her in turn. I found that very telling.

  35. Robyn sure had a lot of expressions and faces she made during all of these conversations. And when she spoke Janelle put her face in her hands, She knows Robyn has considerable influense over Kody and that there will be no regard for her kids if what Robyn and Kody have conspired to do is move to Arizona. I still think Kody is somehow doing business in Arizona in the firearms business with a partner and that is why he wanted to move to Arizona. Our gun laws are not as strict and Kody attends gun shows here

I'm also crying bullshit on Meri being able to make enough for the down payment (plus enough to pay her mortgage and live day-to-day) on her clothes selling business. Why don't they ever mention that they are being paid very well for doing the show and their businesses are all flops?

    2. Anon 7:25, they paid approximately between $400-450K for each McMansion, total of almost $1.8 million. That's a lot considering comparables in their area were around $300-350K. Not to mention the bare bones decorating, carpeting, etc. They overpaid for those huge barns if you ask me.

  38. Love all the snarking, but honestly think Kody has mental health issues. The constant moving isn’t normal behaviour. He has dragged his wives and kids to so many different states. Blames the “exodus” from Utah on the authorities, but if they were truly worried, Meri wouldn’t have purchased a business there. The panicked, crazy look he had during the presentation was the look of someone with issues. His rationale for moving was nonsense and he appeared anxious and angry at the thought his wives would dare not do what he says.

If any of the sister wives read this blog, I hope they get him help. He’s coming undone.

    1. I was thinking the same exact thing! That many moves on how many years? I mean, My husband and I moved 5 times in 5 years, but there were extenuating circumstances and it wasn't because we wanted to. That's not supposed to be the norm. And now we have our hopefully "forever" home, and I never want to move again.

But again, that many moves on how many years? Something's wrong...Did you see Robyn's face when she was listening to the other 3 wives list out the moves? Do you think it was an honest reaction and she honestly didn't know that they had moved that many times? I think it really freaked her out, lol!

    2. Absolutely he looked like he was coming unhinged. He looked just like a cult leader--oh wait, he he is!

      Delete
    3. Well, in view that the show's ratings have been getting lower and lower each season, he has reason to look unhinged. The ratings for the 2/17/19 episode came in at #15. The week before was #11. Pathetic. Next episode maybe out of the top 20 altogether?

Since we are looking at footage from over a year ago, I would venture to guess TLC execs explained their expectations for approving another season. Las Vegas storyline was out, Kody moving family to another state was in. With a stern warning about keeping ratings up or else.

That "presentation" of Kody showed how terrible an actor he is. He was going for savvy businessman who crunched all the numbers to come to his conclusion to leave his Plymouth Rock and sellout while the real estate market was hot, but he came off as desperate, in over his head and quite a bit manic in his delivery.

The show failed in Las Vegas, so let's move it to Flagstaff. Smooth move.

He should have moved to St George UT.

    4. CJ - Your explanation is spot on. If the show really wants to stay on the air, they need to stop these scripted meetings. If they truly are a family (though I have my doubts), there should be plenty of opportunity to just film them doing things together. This whole season has been a series of meetings at each of the McMansions where one of them has "big news" to share. The need more real moments where different family members are interacting. I guess they've run out of Big Love storylines to copy.

  40. Does Mitch remind anyone else of King Henry VIII? He looks like him to me, sans the wit and the charm. Aspen is plyg royalty from Christine's side, and supposedly Mitch is also. They both were lying when they said plygginess wasn't in their future. Mitch is a plyg meister, and I don't feel he really loves Aspyn. Such a shame. The girls certainly seem to marry creepy boys- it must be an escape route for them.

Mariah's nuptials would be nice, except that she is even more unlikable than Mykelti, which is saying something. Bless Aubrey's heart, I feel for that young woman, for she's marrying a narcissistic personality, inherited from Kody, himself. This family is so messed up.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Amen to that! I feel the same about these girls grabbing onto any overweight, sloppy, round faced boy. In Maddie’s case, Caleb was a much older relative by marriage that I believe drinks a lot of beer. They seem to escape as soon as they reach age of concent. And Mariah is absolutely horrible. The B and B episode that she totally put her mom down about buying her dream...” It’s not my dream!” Well why would it be? She certainly fell directly out of the Kody/Meri tree a ripe little jerk.
And I totally agree that “sweet” Aspyn is wife #1 of many. I think Mitch is close to his siblings in polygamy and probably doesn’t approve of his mother’s free spirit. I mean he really wants Aspyn to be “ covered up” in wedding dress. To bad the old shiny gunny sack her mom was married in was cut apart or she could wear that.

      Delete
    2. Agreed, Lisa. My jaw dropped when Mariah made that thoughtless statement. Absolutely nasty piece of work she is. I really like Aspyn for her kind heart and visualized a much better future for her, but it seems she will pick polygamy at some point. She and Maddy were so cute in their sofa talks this week, and Aspyn looked gorgeous in her dress. So did Maddy when she got married, too.

      Delete
    3. Yes, Anon, let’s not forget Aspyn has raised most of Her siblings. Remember when she and Mykelti moved out to their first apartment and Christine said she could not survive without Aspyn. Christine had to bring her mom in to help. And beautiful Aspyn was the one that broke down devestated about Truely’s kidney shut down. I had so much hope for her also because she had no mean streak as we see in others. She was involved and outgoing in her college life and I thought she would live a monogamous life once she went off to college. I know she expressed a possibility of church traditions but I thought once she got out on her own it would change as it appears it has, but alas she has hitched her wagon to a AUB star and that is why Christine is over the moon about this couple.

    4. Lisa, omg that sentence "She certainly fell directly out of the Kody/Meri tree a ripe little jerk" had me cracking up!! That made my day. I thought that because she was a lesbian she would be more sympathetic to the trap these polygamist women were raised in. But she seems to resent her mother while blindly praising her father. She is free to be herself and it turns out she isn't very nice.

Wow, thanks for sharing, I do think Mariah and especially Aubrey are looking to get famous with LGBTQ community, Reality tv, maybe a spin-off lending itself to some type of social media influencers. Aubrey sure took the lead talking to Meri’s CF sister wife. They seem to interject themselves into most episodes for no apparent reason.

    3. Yes, that is very interesting insight. I also thought it was strange how Audrey took the lead with the Catfished person. It seems like Tony and Audrey are vying for starring roles in a Brown kid spinoff. Logan’s fiancé and Caleb seem not to be keen. Not sure about Mitch yet.

    4. Aspyn is just beautiful radiance and the entire clan is lucky to be associated with her; she is lovely and graceful. I think many young ladies will eventually approach her about joining the family. I wonder if she will hold out or not.

It's sad to see what amounts to Christine giving away her power so much to Kody. I can understand trying to keep peace for the family, but the imbalance of too many wives makes it seem pathetic. And I've always rooted for Christine; the love she has for her kids comes across. She's the one of the four wives that I'd pick for a mom.

Kody's "Where we go one, we go all" presentation was weird, since he clearly had conversations with the wives beforehand. I am aware that he's pro 2nd amendment and I agree with that and some of the political views he's stated. The WWG1WGA community of "Q" supporters are talking about the little shout-out, which has also occurred on one of the CSI shows. Quite a few comments of disregard for the polygamy. Last episode, when the Browns were telling us that both Meri's and Kody's mothers each told their husbands to go find new wives to add to the family, because they were hot on polygamy and ready to try it out, Kody comments something like "well, yeah it seems like a natural thing of course, but is it religious?" To which we at this blog generally say-- "Bah! many species mate for life, one male and one female." I get that he points to lions and chickens as his 'other species natural order' role models, but come on. We will not be led down a maze of circular logic, here, Kody.

Mariah comes across as flippant. I bet they're all glad they spent so much money on a lib-tardy school which really honed that piece of attitude.

It is still irksome that funds were not allocated in a pro-rated type fashion to each of the wives according to the size of each individual household. Meri garnering the same size chunk of change as Janelle and Christine ('use your grocery money to go see your sick dad') has always seems ludicrous. I love that Aspyn is getting the most expensive of the weddings so far; she and Christine both deserve it. Kudos to Meri for saying to Aspyn "I am dedicated to doing whatever I can to make this dream come true for you", even if it was a way to stick it to Kody and the other wives for not supporting her Parowan house dream and not just to allocate resources to Aspyn and her wedding. And I love how class-act Aspyn notices this and brushes it off with "it's not THAT big of a deal". Robyn seemed sullen over it--made me wonder how much she spent on her wedding.

So, back to the 'where we go one, we go all" statement. On this I am with you Kody. For those of you who may not yet know, the BIGGEST SECRET in HISTORY is that there is an enormous global child trafficking and pedophilia ring that is being run for the benefit of the political and business elite, and the law enforcement and the media are complicit in a cover-up.

    6. Lisa, I think your right about Mariah and Aubrey hoping for a spinoff show or to become social media influencers. Out of everyone on the show, I hope the most that they don't.

I actually think TLC is hoping to keep the show alive until at least one wife leaves. Then maybe they'll offer that one wife a spinoff. I also think they none of the wives have left because they are afraid of not being offered a spinoff show and losing that TLC income.

Blue Gypsy, I have always thought the same thing- they should split the family income based on household size. I get that it isn't fair to Meri since she wanted more kids but couldn't have them, but this lifestyle is supposed to "make each of them better." No? I personally wouldn't like that because I would just tell the other wives to use birth control or budget better, but then again I didn't choose to live that lifestyle. If the point of polygamy is to learn to be less selfish, jealous, greedy, and be part of this loving family, then it makes sense to make sure each member of that family gets their fair share (not just the wives).

    8. The "bless your heart" platitude smacks of the insincerity that rolls down the hill from the perch of false wisdom.

It actually conveys a sense of the naive in regard to the Revelatory times in which we live. There is a Luciferian agenda to the child trafficking pedophilia, and includes ritual abuse and the consumption of sacrificed individuals. It is disgusting and hard to believe and first. It is an evil, THE evil, that is right now being overcome in the world.

Pope Francis addressed this last Sunday, the 24th of February, at the close of a four-day summit on pedophilia, held in the Vatican. He said "I am reminded of the cruel religious practice, once widespread in certain cultures, of sacrificing human beings--frequently children--in pagan rites. The inhumanity of the worldwide phenomenon becomes even more serious and more scandalous in the church, because it is in contrast with its moral authority and its ethical credibility."

These abuses are not relegated to only the catholic church, but ever wonder how Rome co-opted the message of christ? Look up Paul 6 Audience Hall--in Vatican city--built in the early 70's, it looks just like a serpent--terrifying bronze sculpture behind the inside dais.

  43. Christine could not suppress her plyg indoctrination when she interacted with Hannah. Her passive-aggressiveness was appalling. She hid among her sister wives in any outing or conversation with Hannah. She talked to Hannah like an outsider and after-thought when she mentioned the bridal shower. She brought up the conversation, "So you never wanted a sister wife," at lunch for the cameras and for the benefit of touting how great it is. But, because Christine's education, social skills and maturity are so stunted, her arguments were just repeating herself more loudly and dramatically and fake-pitying Hannah. She even tried to cut Hannah off when Hannah began to say that she liked herself - she couldn't understand or couldn't stand to hear it. I commend Hannah for her diplomacy and dignity through the exchanges. No wonder she limited her interaction to one lunch with alcohol and sent them on a Segway tour. All the sisterwives were completely rude to Hannah in her studio, laughing at the hats, but she got on camera in her studio, saying she loves to share her passion, while they were still clucking among themselves.

Christine really believes that polygamists are superior. She never declared Hannah "unsafe," or hid in a bathroom, even though her daughther's mother-in-law would have much more anti-polygamy influence than Christine's lobbyist-aunt. Hannah had already told Aspyn to buy the wedding dress she wanted (strapless), not the one that Kody or Mitch dictated, and she shot down any alterations to add sleeves. On the couch after the Seattle visit (and a safe distance away), Christine amped up her passive-aggressiveness saying, essentially, "I feel sorry for her that she hauls groceries and children up the stairs, but she's happy." And, she recited Hannah's background to skew the dychotomy as pro-polygamy.

Two final comments: Christine displayed her own flare for hats when she led the party to honor Kody for leading the family to the promised land (now Exodus, for convenience) and presented him with that Burger King crown. And, who is going to hire life coach Janelle, who's so afraid of hats that she wouldn't wear one to walk a few blocks down the street in a group of 5? I guess she won't be joining the Red Hat society.

  44. This move is all a financial shell game. Kody and dem financed their houses with interest only mortgages. So that keeps their mortgage payments low for a certain amount of years (typically 5-7 yrs) since they aren't paying down on the principal. Kody and his harem brought their houses in 2012 so yeah, if they went with a 7 year interest only mortgage, their time is up this year. Now they have to pay interest + principal, which in most cases raises the monthly payment exponentially. Ergo, this recent "we need to get the fuck up out of here for our financial stability" bullshit. Stop playing, you can no longer afford to live there.

It is interesting that most the kids that were the most angry about the move were Janelle's.

Apparently, it has been said that the 'leaders' were trafficking tweens and teens to Turkey (!) before being sent to their final destination.

It shows that this idea of child trafficking, like the nxivm case (in which keith reniere, the 'leader', was found guilty on 6 counts), is spreading through polygamy, since the flds have been convicted of child trafficking as well.

Remember how Christine, 'plyg royalty', when the young girl breading away from the flds described the pervy weird conditions, claimed "I never knew men could be such bastards."
