I Scour The Internet: The Happy New Year Edition for December 30, 2014 UPDATED!!!

Yes, the new season of Sister Wives begins Sunday, January 4th, 2015!


Where has the year 2014 gone? Why, it seems like yesterday we were watching the Brown Krew Kavorting with venture capitalists who proved to be less than anxious to give up their hard-earned cash, while heading on down the highway to Route 66 and meeting those Christian Polygamists in Missouri who know other polygamists that believe in sharing their marital bed, if you know what I mean.



And who can forget the sight of Kody getting Brown goo all over his favorite pair of shoes when SOMEONE failed to properly close the black water valve on the RV?

Or that cliff-hanging last scene of Robyn running frantically to answer her ringing phone. I mean, come on. As if Robyn even KNOWS how to run!!??!! And who the heck would be calling her so late? Her Ob/Gyn???

I seriously doubt that.

Ah, those were certainly the days. We can only hope that this new Winter Season of Sister Wives can be just as much fun. Well, actually I was hoping for more fun but we have to go with what we have, right?

So let me repeat this....
The new season of Sister Wives begins on Sunday, January 4th, 2015.

Be there or be square.

And what have the Browns and their other polygamist friends been up to since we last talked?

Well, not much, I'm afraid...

Of course we have this obligatory reminder of the start of the new season, being retweeted by Kody and his Kodettes.

But couldn't TLC have used a more recent picture of Kody and Krew? I mean, just look at it. Meri and Christine are both wearing outfits they wore about a million times on the show at least 3 seasons ago. And Janelle looks like she's still holding onto some of those gosh awful blouses she supposedly did away with when she moved into her McMansion.

And Robyn...Holy Toledo, what the H.E. double hockey sticks was she thinking when she pulled that outfit together?? Let's just say her outfit has not improved with age!


Let's hope for the announcement of the Summer season (if there is one) TLC springs for some new photos. Please????


Okay, so it's Christmas time right? Obviously a major tradition for the Browns is to travel to Disneyland. This time it was Meri and her acorn that didn't fall far from the tree.




I'm beginning to wonder what Kody and Krew would do if Disneyland were to close down. But we all know that won't happen - not with what those people must spend each year for the privilege of standing in long lines while posing as Reality TV Stars.

For some odd reason, Meri continues to tweet these rather odd memes. Is this wishful thinking on her part?

I'd rather not watch Meri twirl her way on the dance floor. Something tells me it just wouldn't be...modest. And her twirling could stop the Earth's rotation with disastrous results for mankind.


And on the subject of wishful thinking, I'm sure Mariah will make Meri and Kody proud when she finally ties the celestial knot. Let's just hope Karma makes her a 2nd wife and she's treated the same way her mother treated Janelle when she joined the family as a 2nd!



On the subject of Janelle, she posted a picture of her three eldest children.. Funny how on the Sister Wives Official FB page, the fans there didn't recognize Maddie. I mean, really, did they really not see the difference? Hello in there! Janelle has bleached blonde hair!!!


Funny but Janelle was the only Brown Sister Wife to actually wish her fans Happy Holidays! Sorry Meri but sending a picture of a Disneyland street decoration just doesn't compare, know what I mean?

And here's Janelle explaining why Meri and Mariah went to Disneyland. It's a Brown family tradition, don't you know!

This just in...

Here's a video featuring Mykelti Brown that was shared in my other living room on Facebook.

All I can say is...watch this as a cautionary tale of what happens when Kody Brown is in charge of the religious upbringing of children. Just like him, it gets all screwed up!






No wonder Christine was worried about this poor child. I'd be worried too.

This poor child is proof that Kody Brown is worthless as the religious leader of his family. I can't believe this child actually said that if she fell in love with a married man she would approach the man's wife to become her sister wife...

Mykelti honey, here's some advice from a monogamist. You best leave the married man's wife alone because in most cases she will attempt to rearrange your features in ways that the end results will not be flattering and will hurt like hell for a very long time.

Stay AWAY from married men. ... PERIOD!

She needs to understand this is real life and not some damn fairy tale where a woman can pick off married men like apples at the supermarket.

She's in for a very rude awakening, that's for sure!

I Scour the Internet Five Days til Christmas Fifteen Days til Sister Wives Premiere Edition for December 20 2014


Have I mentioned yet that Sister Wives "Winter" Season premieres on January 4th, 2014? AND it's a whole TWO (that's 2) HOURS LONG! I don't know about you, but I am simply tickled a lighter shade of cappuccino.

But you know, I've been saying this since My Five Wives started their second season.

You just can't get good snark out of  Brady Williams and Wives. Every time I try to watch My Five Wives I wind up falling into a deep sleep. And I have a feeling I'm not alone!



So to say I am eagerly anticipating the new season of Sister Wives is an understatement.

I want the snark...I need the snark...I will not be denied the snark any longer!

I feel much better now.

Now what's been happening this week with those Kwirky Klowns consisting of Kody and his Kodettes©. Let's check out their twitter tweets, shall we?

Looks like Robyn is into the giving part of the season. How nice it is seeing an adult Brown actually thinking about people outside of the family cul-de-sac.


Of course, Meri must keep up the Brown tradition of doing as little work as humanly possible. Remember when she tweeted about the Spot in Phoenix?
What transpired next I'm now calling the Battle of the Mean Girls.

Mean Girl Cynical Jinx calls out Mean Girl Meri Brown on Twitter, and Mean Girl Meri Brown tries to laugh it off and tells Mean Girl Cynical Jinx to just "Google It, B...." (My interpretation, of course)

Eventually Mean Girl Meri Brown relented and tweeted at the last possible moment the actual address of The Spot. Oh looky. It's not in Phoenix, it's in GILBERT Az about 25 miles to the east. Oh well...Looks like Mean Girl Cynical Jinx was right after all!

You better sit down for this one. Kody decided to help out a friend by tweeting his followers for help, and I called him out on it!



Folks, Hell has frozen over. Kody actually does reply. I had to sit down and fan myself cuz I thought for sure I was going to faint when I saw his response...


Kody's tweet may actually clear up a question a lot of people have had since the Browns moved to Sin City. Mainly, are they still members of the AUB. Considering Mr Browniac's response, it kinda looks that way, doesn't it? [And did he just "out" his friend Shane at the same time? Oopsies!]

On the topic of "noble gestures" a FB user kindly posted a link to youtu be's policies and guidelines concerning contests on December 16th directly on the piano store's FB account.

Oh oh...somebody's got some 'splaining to do.

Looks like the piano store may have (OK,drop the may have and call it like it is) violated some youtu.be contest policies...specifically that the contestants need to be 18 years old or older, and that the contest should be a game of skill with the winner determined by "a set of clear judging criteria."

The BIGGEST problem was the store's criteria that "The video with the most views WINS!!" Oopsies #2. According to  youtu be's policy that is/was a big no-no. Verbatim, the policy states "You may not utilize channel functions, such as video likes or view counts, to conduct your contest."

Oh well, I guess youtu.be has those policies in place to keep contests fair and to avoid the shenanigans "reality stars" like  Kody and his Kodettes© tried to pull on twitter by marshaling their combined 386 thousand followers to help their friend in his "noble gesture" to donate that piano if he won. Too bad Shane wasn't friends with Anderson Cooper who has 5.43 million followers or Oprah Winfrey with her 26.1 million followers. He might have actually had a shot at winning that piano!


The commercial for the new Sister Wives season (you know, the "Winter" season that begins on January 4th 2015) started rumors that Kody not only was bringing another female into the house, but that the female was in the form of wife #5.

I'm happy to report we have solved that rumor and can categorically tell you the female moving in is a real bitch!


Then again, we could be wrong...stay tuned! [And let's hope those aren't actual NAILS pounded into the wall to hang those stockings]

You have to love Janelle. First she tweets about how hard it is to find a family friendly TV show like TLC's The Secret Santa to watch with her kids....[plug plug plug that TLC special!]



and of course, her reminder tweet to her followers of the new season...


But then in the next tweet, she retweets not only another cable network, but possibly the most violent, gory TV series out there...

Back in Darger Land...Here's Papa Joe trying to look FIERCE...and succeeding in looking like a fierce serial killer on the run!

I Scour the Internet: The Sister Wives Return 1/4/15 Edition for December 7, 2014




TLC finally made it official: Sister Wives new season (called the Winter Season - how festive!) begins January 4th, 2015! I suppose it was TLC's final slap to the face of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Polygamy triumphs again, tra lalalala lala la la...

I'm just glad to get Sister Wives back. I hate to say this, but I will. Sister Wives makes for the best snark, ever! Job well done, Browns...

So let's check out what the Brown Krew has been up to since we last met...

Well, sounds like Meri's been sleeping single in a double bed with insomnia again, poor dear...



To make up for not majoring in Philosophy (or any other worthwhile subject) at UNLV this semester, she has taken to tweeting her own version of "Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey".

I'm calling this as I see it, so here's Meri Brown's Contradictory Thoughts...


I'm guessing Robyn didn't get this lecture when she felt Hunter didn't show her the respect she deserved after popping out King Sol. Oh, and don't forget Christine having to apologize to her for not properly welcoming her to the family.


Guess sisterwives don't count...



I love this one...kind of explains how Meri treated Janelle after she joined the family as Kody's 2nd wife.


Which also would explain why Cynical Jinx' question just disappeared AND was never answered. I suppose if CJ were Meri's close friend, Meri would have deleted and blocked her ample rear-end.


Cue the crickets...CJ is still waiting...

Mariah was in rare form last week. She's a science major, ya know...

Down the road from Mariah, Maddie is also suffering through finals...







Back in Vegas, Mykelti is also falling victim to the scourge of finals week...





But Aspyn seems focused on more important things...

Off the subject of hosting a party, Robyn may be on Twitter hiatus but Kody did take the time to tweet this picture showing the results of Dayton's first wrestling experience. Too bad Robyn wore dark clothes.


Can you imagine Robyn and Kody dressing for the wrestling meet? Robyn got to wear the dark Centennial HS sweatshirt to keep up the speculation is she, or isn't she? Kody wore the light Centennial  sweatshirt to show off his curvy yet still manly physique. And Dayton had to ice his aching shoulder afterwards. OUCH!!

I Scour the Internet: The Post Thankgiving Day Edition for Black Friday, November 28th 2014






I've been saying this for what seems like eons, but...What the heck have the Sister Wives, Kody Brown and their assorted entourages really been doing since the last season ended?

Yes, we have tweets, but the pictures are just a few paltry crumbs divvied out to the screaming fans eager to see more.




And once again, the inevitable question of "When will Sister Wives return to TLC" has overtaken the usual question of whether Robyn was preggers or not.

Both questions remain unanswered on the TLC run Sister Wives Facebook fanpage and in the few tweets tweeted out to fans by the Sister Wives.

Their lips are sealed until TLC tells them they can loosen them. No more Mama June spilling the beans, right?
And then this gratuitous picture of Kody with Sister Wife #2 Janelle posing with KISS last week. I'd say maybe they need a publicity manager to get their name out there to the public, instead of their booking manager.

I mean, KISS scared ME when I was in college. Is publicity like this going to grow their fan base enough to increase the ratings of their TV show?

Maybe they DO need to hire Mama June...









And then there was the  oh so "clandestine" trip to Hawaii Kody made with Robyn (amazing how Kody just happened to send a tweet that included his location for all to see), and the solo trips legal wife #1 Meri made down on the Las Vegas strip, to Disneyland and  a Pacific cruise with various galpals. Even Janelle made a trip to an unknown city, tweeting a picture of the city outside her hotel window at night.







We want to see these slugs actually meeting the common folk. Shaking hands with the masses before taking their money in the Brown family owned, and overpriced My Sister Wife's Closet online store. Maybe even stopping to say hello and taking pictures at walkathons instead of cheesy aren't we cute pics of the family, standing still, with Kody in sandals (no walking shoes needed cause he ain't walking no where) with King Sol sitting high atop his shoulders. As usual.

They have a reputation to uphold, right? And after Rosemary Williams' revelation about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father, who is now the head of the church Kody's Sister Wife #3 Christine's grandfather and grand-uncle once headed, they should be out there screaming their heads off right?  Wrong.....




So here we are, perhaps a month away from a new season. And as usual, the Browns are hanging around like so many giraffes with their heads in the sand, lifting them up occasionally to try to look cool.

At least they didn't take another trip to Disneyland this week...And where is Mindy?




Let's talk about tweets, shall we?


In typical Meri style, she moved from Thanksgiving celebrating to getting her house in order for Christmas. She even allotted some time to send out a tweet about MSWC...





Oh boy. But then meri retweets her newest obsession, mainly, Danny Gokey's online store. Is she crazy? Do you ever see Walmart retweeting Target ads? Major fail...Plugging another store? Where's your loyalty, Meri Brown?



Meanwhile, while Robyn wasn't complaining about how tired she kind of tweeted how much she loved her fans...Oh and she tweeted about her MSWC Black Friday Sale (ends tonight at 12 midnight PST in case you're interested).



At least Robyn tweeted ONLY about her Closet...


But Robyn does need to talk to Meri about her loyalty issues, if she dares!


Kody took time out from his busy, productive day (yeah right) to tweet a couple of pics of his Thanksgiving feast at Meri's McMansion. Unless the camera men were hiding, this holiday does not appear to have been  filmed for the show....hmmm....



From a different angle, we see the table making a sharp 90 degree turn in front of Meri's infamous wet bar...being used for pitchers of drinks. How appropriate!



Janelle was the first to tweet a picture on Thanksgiving of Savanah and Truely out for the count on Meri's precious sofa.



But she was back to her usual tweeting how on Black Friday she dragged her sister out to the gym. Well, they do say misery loves company, right?



Yesterday, Christine had the thankless job of managing the consumption of dinner rolls, which is weird because you'd think she would be cooking more than rolls, right??? ...


Here's what Meri tweeted out as her offerings for the feast....


The Dargers provided their fans with ELEVEN photos of their Thanksgiving...Thank goodness they stayed away from fairy tales...

Anyway, they also tweeted out to one plural family, but noticeably left another family out of their well wishes. Three guesses who that was (and the first 2 don't count!)



Kody probably thinks he's too good for a TMZ article but...like that iconic saying..."Any publicity is good publicity." Right Brady?

I Scour the Internet: The Post Halloween Daylight Savings Fall Back Edition for November 1, 2014

You know it's fall when it's time for Daylight Savings Fall Back of the clocks, and Kody Brown and Family celebrating Halloween in the cul-de-sac.

I suppose in view of the Honey Boo Boo debacle, the Browns (and TLC) want to appear as normal as possible. If that is even possible!!



That's a chore in itself when you've got Kody to deal with...so let's take a look at how well they managed this task, shall we?


Meri starts out the Brown's Halloween fest with these series of tweets...


And of course, this obligatory retweet of Nanny Mindy with Meri adding her 2 cents...


Robyn was also able to sneak in a tweet about King Sol...So far two adorables and one nuts...

She also retweeted this tweet from their booking manager...I guess Christine and Janelle weren't invited...Robyn doesn't look preggers, but Meri...hmmm....



Here's a nice tweet from Mykelti...looks like she enjoyed a Halloween breakfast with her Mom, who apparently didn't make the list to join Robyn and Meri for lunch...

But when I opened the instagram link, what a surprise! I suppose this was Mykelti's version of a "trick"...




At least Mariah knows who her parents are (and doesn't want anyone to forget, either) :


Along with Disneyland, it seems Halloween is the Browns next favorite thing.

And Kody retweeted not one, but TWO tweets from Robyn's Nanny/Housekeeper/Cousin Mindy. At least he didn't add an "adorable" comment...yet...





Ah...Kody, I don't think "wantonly" is the appropriate word...unless you're dressed as a monogamist harlot roaming the cul-de-sac for klients...which would be a pretty kewl kostume actually...


But maybe for Christmas, instead of an expensive laptop or gun, his wives should invest in a $5.00 dictionary because he seriously needs help! He even had the nerve to get sassy about his faux pas when someone pointed it out...I guess he meant this to be humorous...



Hey, it's not even 9:00 yet (according to the timestamp on his tweet)...typical Kody behavior to not finish a job or task. He takes his candy and heads over to Robyn's...



Maddie tweeted a pic of herself in makeup to dear old dad...



Janelle even gets into the Halloween swing of things by tweeting about...you guessed it...King Sol. Oh...and she let her fans know the Halloween party was at Robyn's McMansion. No wonder Kody was in a hurry to stop handing out candy at the gate to the cul-de-sac!


How strange there weren't any twitter pictures of Janelle or Christine enjoying the party at Robyn's...at least Christine did tweet some pictures of Truely in her costume and with treats for her pre-school class, and Ysabel and Gwendolyn made up for their school party...





Sneaking back over to Mykelti's and Aspyn's Instagram to get some more pictures of the Halloween party...





If you look real hard you'll see Christine and Robyn! Seems like a rather subdued party. Where were their neighbors Deidre and Bill?

I Scour the Internet: The Browns at College Edition for September 23, 2014


Collegians Aspyn, Maddie, Mykelti and Mariah


Who would've thunk it?

These four, young, Brown sisters from different mothers (and one doofus father) are all college students!!

 Aspyn and Mariah are now sophomores, while Maddie and Mykelti are freshman this semester!




Unfortunately, it appears Bonus Mom Meri didn't get to UNLV. No doubt her bouts of the "vapors" and playing the role of  "groupie" for that fabulous Utah band VanLadyLove did not leave much time for college. Oh well...UNLVs lost and the world of at risk youth's gain is one way to look at this.

Meri's been way too busy to be a college girl...she's working hard at her role as the Jet-Setting Sister Wife and VLL supporter at the first Utah Music Awards...


Perhaps she's decided her career path should be in the entertainment industry...looks like she's scoping out a new band to stalk...i mean to follow...
But the VLL accolades keep spilling from her nimble fingers to her twitter followers...



Good grief, Meri. How much are these guys paying you?


Like a true globetrotter, Meri takes a picture of the busy airport tarmac.No more putting mileage on her car for her weekly Utah trips..Next time she'll be leasing a private plane instead of flying commercial!
But she still has time for one more VLL tweet...



Thus, we have the reasons why Meri is not at UNLV this semester...


The Brown's "Just Your Average TV Star" is still trying to find her Twitter voice. I suppose she saves all her mature stuff for her true friends on instagram...

Good question Mariah. Your "audience" has been wondering the same about you since last semester...

I hate to break this to you, but they even let nurses "fix" cuts nowadays. Now, if you had reattached a finger or limb, that would have been noteworthy!



Oh yes, Miss Sunshine is shining through again...
Amazing how she can go from one extreme to the other in a matter of minutes, isn't it?
First she's waking up, now she's complaining about the lack of sleep. Which is it?
I suppose this mention of the Boston hoodie means something significant...
Ahhhh...she's looking up med schools. Now, I wonder what city they are located in...could it be....BOSTON?????
Let's hope you have better luck than your mother Meri and bonus mom Janelle...
Uncomfortable isn't the word...I think scared to death is more accurate.

And then there's Freshman Maddie. Now let's be real, Maddie can have her entitled moments too. But there is something fresh and endearing about her that you can't stay upset with her for long...Follow the next three tweets where you can't help relating to what she's experiencing...

But all is well! Maddie pledged a sorority and the world is rosy again. Hey, maybe one of her Greek sisters is an Econ major...

No doubt the color influence comes from being around Bonus Mom Christine all those years.



Hmmm....for some reason Mykelti's tweets tend to be on the dark and brooding side, if you know what I mean. For a girl who believed her father's malarkey about kissing and passing hormones, you'd think she'd be more...pious, know what I mean?

All righty then.

At least she eats healthy...My BFF calls oatmeal for dinner her "Harvest Grain Festivale." I don't eat dinner at her house much...
And yet another Brown going Greek!




So does this mean she's working at the library or doing homework there? At any rate, she's miles ahead of her mom and dad in the work and school departments.


Meri may be having dizzy spells, but Aspyn seems to have a more serious problem...

A girl has to know her limitations...

I Scour the Internet: The Pre Labor Day Edition for August 27, 2014

It's still slim pickings on the polygamy reality show beat. Robyn Brown has been keeping such a low profile - still no verifiable sightings. I'm beginning to think maybe she developed a giant horn growing out of her forehead. At least that would explain her sudden non presence in the world.

Oh well, I KNOW TLC is happy with all the buzz her absence is causing...maybe...

Anyway, by popular demand, the TWEET OF THE WEEK  belongs  to MARIAH BROWN for this totally immature piece of advice she tweeted to sister Maddie...









Yes, Mariah. You know you deserve this recognition so please accept this Anderson head palm with the dignity and class I know you possess...somewhere. Well, maybe at least give it the old Westminster College try...


You go girl!!!  Please...just...go...

Back to Mariah. When she isn't telling strangers she's on TV and they aren't, she tries to give back to the community. Frankly, I'm surprised we haven't seen her Daddy Dearest take the challenge.

Oh dear. Seems Mariah has her own You Tube channel, which apparently is open to the public (at this writing). She's got a winner of a video she made for her speech class. Yes, she is definitely showing off HER stardom now! Poor, deluded child...

Do you mean to tell me Mariah works? Who woulda thunk it? And always bringing a little bit of sunshine into a grumpy person's life. Yes it is the little things...and if you believe this bunch of crapola, I've got some land I want to sell you, cheap.




Now on to Maddie, who looks like she's having some college fun. Word of advice: Don't tell your prof that you're on TV and he isn't. Not if you want an A, OK?


Anyway, good looking professors always gives a person a reason to go to class, know what I mean?
