UPDATE: I Scour the Internet: The "International Left-Handers Day" Edition for August 13, 2014


Well OK, so I'm not a leftie, but I'm sure there has to be a lot of left-handed people out there if they have their own holiday, right?

So let's get down to what has been happening on the polygamist front this week.

Robyn is still keeping an extremely low profile (just like her part time hubby Kody and sisterwife Christine) but at least she's started retweeting the MSWC tweets to her many fans. Checking out MSWC twitter account, it now has almost 800 followers! Whoo hoo!

You know, I'm thinking maybe MSWC is now under control of a third party which could explain the sudden customer service centered actions of answering all those Facebook queries - with the cleanup of those obvious non customer comments on a daily basis.

And it could explain why the left hand of the Brown Family Business Team appears to be ignoring the right hand of the MSWC Business Team by tweeting about sales but leaving out the fact MSWC has its own twitter now.

C'mon, Browns! Why can't you get your left business hand and right business hand playing together in harmony?

To prove my point, here's Meri obsessively tweeting away about VLL, with nary a mention of the MSWC twitter account. Trust me, there were more than two tweets!

How about using #MySisWifesClos  or @MySisWifesClos    in those tweets, Meri???!!!!!  

Now here's a strange tweet...does this mean Meri's now eating diet food? At least it's not mashed cauliflower like another sister wife we know...

And of course, the now obligatory selfie featuring Robyn's bonus kids...




Ah...Meri, is that a new convertible you're driving???? No, wait. I think that's Kody's old $60K Lexus sports car convertible. But I thought Logan was gifted the Lexus when he went to UNLV. Does this mean the left handed team of Kody and Meri unceremoniously took back the Lexus after all these years? Or have they bought another Lexus convertible?

Looking at the Kody twitter front, looks like we have the continuing saga of Coach Wike and his onesie with this retweet. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was auditioning for a spot on the show...



Looks like all the Browns are traveling in various states of the USA. Here's a tweet from Aspyn tasting new cuisine with her aunt and uncle, in New Jersey. Hey, I hope she popped in on Teresa and Juicy Joe while there!



And here's Aspyn's philosophical thought of the day...

Yeah, that just about sums up the twitter activity from Kody, Robyn and Christine this week. That's two weeks in a row.

But then there's Janelle.

I guess Janelle doesn't watch Real Housewives on Bravo. They go glamping all the time! Certainly beats living in a teepee!


And how sweet of Janelle to tweet about her youngest son Gabriel...

UPDATE 8/13/14


Now here's something I found on the TLC Sister Wives Facebook fanpage just now.

Seems Kody has alienated a fan...I wonder how TLC's going to rehabilitate this faux pas? And I wonder which Kodette© family was in Disneyland. My money's on Christine.




Anyway, this vacation destination was confirmed by a comment on this fan's business page. Looks like Kody never learned that when you're nasty to people, they will tell their friends...who will tell their friends, who will tell their friends...and so on, and so on...


Too bad Kody didn't take the time to ask this lady for some marketing pointers because her business seems very interesting...!

I Scour the Internet: The "Happiness Happens Day" Edition for August 8, 2014


Okay, so now I'm intrigued.

What the heck is going on with Robyn, Kody and Christine?

The only tweet from Robyn (who used to be a prolific tweeter) has been one retweet - apparently an entrepreneur  article she wanted to "share" with her followers. And Kody? Well, his was a retweet also.

But most troubling has been Christine. Ever since the telecast of her walking out of the interview on the Tell All episode, she has kept a very low twitter profile. She has even stopped tweeting pictures of sweet Truely.


Oh Lord, don't tell me these people have migrated to....INSTAGRAM!!!????!!!!   NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

While we ponder that possibility, let's check out what the other Browns (and their fellow Polygamists) have been up to this week on SOCIAL MEDIA!


Looks like the same old same old with Meri.

Here's her obligatory tweet featuring her favorite friend who just happens to be her daughter, Mariah. Looks like they checked out "Old Faithful" in Wyoming...

Oh, and of course, tweeting about MSWC that now has a twitter account all it's own...

So that makes 600 or so followers now. Strange, considering Meri has EIGHTY TWO THOUSAND followers, and MSWC is the family moneymaker (supposedly), why hasn't Kody (CEO) and Robyn (MSWC entrepreneur who handed her business authority over to her husband whose previous businesses were flops) encouraged ALL the Browns (including themselves)  to tweet this in order to increase those MSWC followers?

I mean, if each of Meri's followers were to spend just $1.00, that would be $82,000 !! Enough to pay for a month's worth of trips to Disneyland, food for Kody's four families, mortgage payments or one McMansion's summer utility bill for one month.

Just another example of lost opportunities, I suppose...

But that doesn't mean Meri and Mariah can't have fun. Looks like they attended a party for a departing crew member...No, that isn't a McMansion backyard (with a pool) unless someone replaced their stucco exterior with a totally hideous pseudo Western design exterior that simply screams Wyoming tourist trap restaurant...
Thank goodness Mariah was still upholding the "Modest is Hottest" Brown Family platform for dressing appropriately in mixed company. Nothing like wet clothes to show off those womanly curves, right Mariah?

And even though Robyn, Kody and Christine are missing in action, Meri's always there to step in as bonus mom! Look, she's even included Robyn's nanny!



On the Kody front, looks like he did carry on a short convo with his coach pal, who got all wet at SeaWorld...Totally lame if you ask me (and I know you want to ask, I can tell).




Wow, aren't those two just a couple of jokesters?

And here's Aspyn getting philosophical on us...or maybe trying to explain the absence of Kody, Christine and Robyn posting anything interesting on Twitter...



While Meri and  the "girls" were partying on their road trip, Hunter has been visiting colleges...and deep sea fishing?





and I wonder who Hunter is referring to...naw, couldn't be daddy dearest could it?



Looks like Janelle is keeping to her exercise and diet regime. But mashed cauliflower? YUCK!!!








Wait!!! Looks like Christine took time to tweet to a fan, but alas,  no pictures of Truely...



And of course, hyping the sale going on at MSWC. What a good marketing executive she is. But wouldn't it be more effective to also tweet how she's now following MSWC so her followers will follow? Oh well, Rome wasn't built in a day...



Talking about the sale, isn't it interesting the high price MSWC junkola is 20% off. Could budding entrepreneur Robyn actually be following the advice from the latest entrepreneur blog she retweeted ?



On the Papa Joe Darger and Family twitter front, sounds like there's a downside to having a super sized polygamist family...


Too bad the Dargers didn't go into detail what this was about...

UPDATED 8/7/14!! Off Topic Sunday for 8/3/14 Including Weekend Oddities, Updates and Tweets this Week

Hi. I'm Joe Darger, and you're not...



Now here's an interesting tweet from Papa Joe Darger...


Hmmm...Gee Papa Joe, at least you could have given us more details what the Sunstone Symposium was about, and why you would be leading a panel. Oh, and if there will be a transcript available later.

Anyway, I let my fingers do the hashtag searching on twitter and I found some information about the Sunstone Symposium. To be brief, it's an annual meeting that discusses LDS issues. This year, it seems Mormon feminists are finding their voices and demonstrating for equal Mormon priesthood rights.  Unfortunately, these "uppity" females are not tolerated well and run the risk of getting a swift excommunication boot in the posterior if they are too vocal about it. OUCH!

So I can see how polygamy, which is another way of men subjugating women, ( HEAR ME NATHANEAL "let's take our first bite of food at the same time" RICHARD????) just isn't as interesting as having hundreds of female Mormons following the Big Love storyline of Barb Henrickson seeking ordination as priesthood holder and literally storming the Temple's gate....so to speak.

A side note. An observation I found interesting from panelist Nancy Ross:

"Mormon women often use an infantilizing way of speaking in public — adopting a so-called Primary voice that is most often associated with children — even when addressing adults and mature topics. "

That's OK...I WILL find something to write about, trust me!

Do you know My Sister Wife's Closet now has it's own twitter account? Since July 11, it appears. But  I'm failing to understand the Entrepreneurs' retweets. Shouldn't they be tweeting about My Sister Wife's Closet merchandise and what's on sale? Or maybe "Hey guys, the server's UP so click this link and buy buy BUY our junk!!"

Just file this one under "Still Clueless"

(Built on friendship until one party owes the other party a lot of money!)

Hopefully, this twitter account will take over all those insipid VLL tweets that cluttered Meri's twitter timeline for most of the year.




Just for the heck of it, I'm now following MSWC twitter, but ....

Up pops Mariah's twitter as a follow suggestion. Now I've made a personal choice NOT to follow the Brown Teens, but occasionally I will take a peek or two. And I've adored Maddie's tweets this summer.

While perusing Mariah's tweet patter, I found one that really perturbed me for some reason.

It seems she's too high and mighty to allow the unknown peoples, AKA the dredges of ghetto society to follow her on instagram. Funny, that her other more popular siblings don't seem to have a problem with people following them.

Do you think maybe that's why they are popular?

I'm hoping some day Mariah will gain some intrapersonal skills, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Sheesh, it's not like you have to marry the people that follow you!

This girl actually makes Mariah's slightly skewed outlook (she's just your average tv star, you know) seem normal. Nah, nothing can beat the outrageousness of Ashlee...NOTHING!

Okay, who didn't see this train wreck coming?

Ramona "Crazy Eyes" Singer has announced her split with husband Mario over Twitter, of all things. Wait, let me rephrase that, Ramona announced via twitter her breakup with hubby Mario. There, that sounds better...



I don't know about you, but I suffered through Part 2 of the RHoNY reunion show where Ramona refused to answer dear, sweet Andy Cohen's question whether her friends were supportive when she was having problems with Mario and his roving eyes earlier in this year.


Now it makes sense why she kept telling Andy to BACKOFF!!





To get back on topic for my living room, I wonder if Ramona ever considered bringing on Mario's girlfriends as sisterwives?

Frankly, I have a feeling Ramona would rip that sisterwife to shreds...and Mario too!
